VDC collaborating with Brent Cambell Architects, worked on a new custom residential project with the goal of creating a contemporary composition that complemented the architecture while blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. T

The landscape design included a modern take on the arrival experience using plantings on a grid layout and natural paving stone set on a running bond patterning. The backyard space is comprised of a clean edge pool with an innovative deck drainage system that makes use of a mexican beach pebble lined channel where the drainage system is hidden below. A custom fire feature is located to take advantage of the views, with a creative solution to firewood storage making use of corten steel integrated with a landscape boulder.
