Vision Design was contacted by a former client to develop and test concepts for an outdoor adventure enclave within their existing exclusive mountain community. Our scope included in-depth site reconnaissance to determine precise locations for up to twelve small, well-designed cottages.

The focus of these cottages is to support interaction with the numerous outdoor activities available in the vicinity. The cottages would each offer unique views of massive granite canyon walls and be carefully located as to feel naturally nestled into the site's lush riparian surroundings. One of the key concepts behind the design is to maximize outdoor living space while reducing and simplifying the indoor spaces. The plan calls for connections to existing trail systems, as well as creation of a community area for fire side gatherings and outdoor events.
