The driving force behind the design for this residence was to create a home where the structure and the site were seamlessly integrated. The indoors and outdoors blend together with extensive use of glazing and refined room-like outdoor spaces.

This process began with a thorough analysis and understanding of the site. When siting the home, careful consideration was given to existing vegetation and topography to ensure that the home would nestle into the hillside and mature vegetation would be protected.
