A private residence on the shores of Lake Tahoe, the landscape was designed to take advantage of the outdoors with various formal garden courtyard spaces, intimate, more private spaces for the family, and larger, informal activity areas for larger gatherings. An outdoor fireplace, designed to look like a remnant chimney, serves as the centerpiece to the lake side patio. All planting was native to the area and designed to blend with the surrounding landscape. Work completed while at Design Workshop Inc. SteveWyda was project landscape architect.
